What is an Aquascape Pondless Waterfall?

Simply put a Pondless waterfall is Aquascapes name for a waterfall that comes out of a Biofalls® box at the top and then flows through the stream and drops down into a basin of rocks and gravel .This make the waterfall to appear to just disappear into the ground. This is a good alternative to a Aquascape pond when concern for small children present.

Another advantage of the pondless waterfall is that it can be turned on and off. With an ecosystem pond it has to run 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to keep beneficial bacteria alive.

If you are out town frequently or maybe just want to save money on electrical costs a pondless waterfall would be ideal.
